ISO Vintage a personal shopping service and is, by definition, a “middle man” whose sole function is to link vintage shoppers with a dealer who has the item they are seeking. We do not take payments for items so all money, including applicable sales tax will be paid to the individual dealer.
There is no charge to the dealer to be part of our “tech savvy” dealer network and there is no charge to the shopper to put us to work and send out a request.
Upon gathering information and photos from dealers, along with their best price on a particular item, that information is passed on to the shopper through e-mail. If the shopper chooses to pursue a purchase with a dealer, shopper informs ISO Vintage and then through PayPal, we will quickly invoice the buyer a small fee for the service we have provided. Shoppers understand the finder’s fee for a successful pairing of shopper and dealer is 20% of the purchase price with a $5 minimum and $100 maximum charge. Also, items are not guaranteed to enter the seven day “on hold” period until the finder’s fee is paid by the shopper and contact information is received.
ISO Vintage will link buyer and dealer after receipt of payment of the finder’s fee. Once shopper and dealer are linked through e-mail with contact information, ISO Vintage is no longer is involved whatsoever in the completion of the sale and the seven day purchase period begins. It is the responsibility of the shopper and dealer within seven days to complete the sale, make payment, arrange shipping, delivery or pickup. ISO Vintage will not be held liable monetarily or otherwise for any issue arising between buyer and seller, nor will finder’s fees be refunded. Once contact information is passed on to both parties, ISO Vintage has fulfilled its responsibilities.
Upon signing up as a dealer with ISO Vintage, dealers agree to hold items for 7×24 hour days until all payments and arrangements are finalized with the buyer. The seven day “on hold” period officially begins once the finder’s fee has been paid and ISO Vintage has forwarded buyer information. If after 7×24 hour periods, payment has not been made or acceptable arrangements have not been agreed upon, dealer is no longer required to hold item for the buyer. ISO Vintage expect both parties to the sale to act responsibly, honorably and with integrity and promises to remove any sellers from our list of quality dealers who do not follow through on their word to our buyers.
